Product Description:

DOPE-PEG-NHS is one of Nanocs' reactive phospholipid PEG derivatives that have a succinimidyl NHS ester on the one terminus of PEG chain. DOPE is an unsatured C18 phospholipid that has been used for gene and other molecule delivery. NHS, on the other hand, is reactive toward primary amine groups to form a stable amide bond. Reaction between NHS and amine enables attachment of DOPE to the many substrate surfaces. Meanwhile, PEG linker between DOPE and NHS offers better solubility and enhanced stability.
